Alpha is our third dog - she has the same sire as Starbuck and Nari. She's probably the smartest of the bunch and is quite the trickster! She can break into anything - including the food bin that has a latch on it. She can also smell out any new toys you bring into the house and she will get them, even if you leave them on a bookshelf 3+ feet off the ground. 

Alpha has had a little bit of a rough life - a crazy puppy accident sent her into puppy rehab at the vet school for quite a while. She spent many days at UT working out with the UT mascot among other canine celebrities. That whole episode taught me canine rehab techniques, massage and a little bit of acupressure. So now all of the dogs are stronger because of her. Alpha ran into another rough time when her kidneys failed at the age of two, sending her into the ICU at the vet school for a week. Happily she made a full recovery and will live a happy, crazy, normal life now because of her amazing vet, Dr. Raditic.

Even though Alpha has had some tough times she is the happiest puppy ever. She is currently training in agility and general cuteness.
