Our first USDAA trial


We had our very first USDAA trial this weekend at the Clearview Horse Farm in Shelbyville, TN. Nari was excited to see all of the horses and had to yell 'hello' to everyone every morning when we arrived. We were quite popular - lots of people came up to us to ask about her and comment on how cute she was. 

We loved that USDAA is faster paced than UKC and the competition is really excellent, lots of border collies and shelties. We did quite well for our first competition - three Q's, four 1st places and two 2nd places. Nari had fun with the courses and did an excellent job of staying with me despite the fact that I kept pausing to pull up my pants on Saturday (which probably cost us at least one Q because we were over time).
