I confess... to a bunch of random stuff

This is a fun one that I stumbled upon (saw Laura's link to it) so I thought I'd play along.

I confess...

Sometimes I looked up things for my job on Wikipedia.

Today I went on YouTube for job related stuff. Really, I did. And I felt kind of guilty about it.  FYI - videos on soldering are quite dull - you people need to add some awesome music or graphics or hot guys without shirts soldering (maybe that would be some kind of safety violation...).

I really miss having my office next to an old, rusty reactor.

I confess...

The only reason we purchased our treadmill was for the dogs. We told ourselves that we were buying the treadmill so that we could get in better shape, but really it was for the dogs. And the dogs have definitely logged in more miles than me on that thing.

That my 3 year old dog has had more massages and chiro adjustments that I have.

And every time I think about schedule a massage for myself I never do it because I just can't justify a $50 massage for myself - but for my dog I never question it.

I told that to my vet on Wednesday and she had some vet students come in to learn more about chiro and didn't charge for the session (because she used it to teach the vet students) and told me to use the money to get a massage for myself.

I confess...

That my dogs eat way healthier than me. They think that broccoli stumps are a treat - do you know how good I would look if I went crazy over broccoli stumps?

That Nari never earned her Advanced Snooker title. Didn't figure that out until it was too late to go back and finish the title.

I confess...

That sometimes I wish I could clicker train my friends poorly behaved children. Not with a real clicker, but just give them a treat when they are doing something good and ignore them when they are being little brats (like squirting my with a squirt gun while I'm trying to eat).

I confess...

That I have super awesomely amazing ninja skills.

Okay, not really. But wouldn't that be awesome if I did?

  1. OMG, Steffi, you slay me!!! LOL! I'm seriously impressed with your awesome ninja skills. Really, if I could convince myself that broccoli stalk was something more than just to be tolerated I'd probably be a beanpole. For that matter, if I only ate kibble I'd be a beanpole.

The internet... what an amazing invention!

PS - the dog in pot pic cracks me up!

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by So sorry you had to put up with that crappy word verification. I had no idea that I had set it - but now that thing is toast! Thanks so much for pointing that out.

  4. haahahahaha, you have made my morning, great post. I love you said that you cant justify the money for a massage for yourself or a chiro adjustment but no question about it for the dogs, hahahahahah. I have never had an adjustment and have had all sorts of issues lately but I have the dogs going on a pretty regular schedule. After Cricket bailed off the aframe at the last trial a couple of times.....I really have been trying to get her in although she has shown no problems, but I can barely walk with my knee but have I got help for that, of course not, what is wrong with that???? LOL.

    1. Glad I'm not the only crazy one out there who sends the dogs to get fixed before they do. Sorry about your issues lately - I hope you get them checked out and feel better soon! I bet since you work so well with Cricket (didn't you do the ST tricks class?) that's probably why she's not so bad after the aframe. Or maybe she's a 'gumby' dog like my Starbuck - they fly off of everything but are always okay!
